Valencia Road Update

The following email was received from Ward 4 Council office.  We were asked to pass this info to local HOAs and Facebook groups so local residents would be aware of the upcoming changes and street closures..  We would appreciate if you would pass the following along to your groups.

Good afternoon Council Member Lee and Staff, 

On Monday, July 21, traffic is scheduled to shift onto the north side of Valencia Road between Kolb Road and Houghton Road as part of the Valencia Road Improvement Project currently taking place. One lane of travel will be maintained in each direction. This shift will allow crews to begin work on the south side of the roadway. 

The following streets will close on the south side of Valencia Road through the duration of this work: 

Giachery Avenue

Laurie Ann Drive

Eastern entrance of Encantada Rita Ranch Apartments

Two entrances into the Safeway shopping complex

The attached notification letter was mailed out today to the neighborhood bounded by Olinga Ave, Valencia Rd, and Nexus Rd, see attached map.

MainStreet Business Assistance has been in contact with the shopping plaza and the Apartment Complex regarding their access.
