Active Shooter Preparedness Sessions at Mica Mountain High School June 23-25th.

SDWE residents:

The Pima County Sheriff's Department School Resource Officer Unit will be having a Basic Active Shooter Preparedness session at Mica Mountain High School June 23–25, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The workshop is designed to help participants develop the knowledge, mindset, and practical skills needed to respond effectively during an active shooter event. There may be blanks used during these sessions. Please do not worry if you hear simulated gunfire from the school grounds during these sessions.
